From Seed to Community.

Founded in 1982 in Richmond, Acacia Children's Centre was born from the belief that embracing family values and cultures strengthens society. Starting with just 43 children, we've nurtured a legacy of education that reflects the comfort and warmth of a family home, while fostering respect for our diverse community and the environment. Nurturing Tomorrow's Innovators

Acacia's philosophy comes to life in the vibrant hues of our playground, where children engage in play—the cornerstone of our educational approach. This outdoor space embodies our dedication to creating developmentally enriching environments, encouraging children to explore their world and develop foundational social, emotional, and physical skills through STEAM-based activities.

As families step through our welcoming entrance, adorned with children's artwork and accolades, they experience our commitment to nurture, listen, and include. Our collaborative partnership with families and the community fosters a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere where every child feels they belong. From honouring the traditional custodians of the land to embracing diverse cultures, Acacia remains a beacon of community, education, and holistic growth.

Nutrition is central to our commitment to children's health and well-being. Our qualified Centre Cooks prepare daily meals following a seasonal menu approved by the Healthy Eating Advisory Board. We cater to various allergies and intolerances, ensuring every child's dietary needs are met. We promote a positive and inclusive mealtime environment, teaching children about healthy eating habits. What Families Are Saying

Thi Nguyen
My children go here since they were about to turn 6 month old. The staff are very friendly and caring. They’re very professional and knowledgeable with good hearts.
Sean K
All the teachers are caring and the management team communicate with the parents so well.
They are also very organised, so my wife and I, we all like the centre and my son really enjoys going there. We don't worry about anything when our son is at the centre and we trust everything happening at the childcare without a doubt.
Moon Lai
Thank you Acacia Richmond for being so professional and attentive to my 8-month-old from she first joined in till this very moment. Before she joined in, she was a painfully fussy eater; insecure baby who wouldn’t let me out of her sight for more than 5 minutes.
