History of Acacia Fitzroy Creche

The roots of Acacia's nurturing environment date back to September 30, 1970, when Lady Delacombe officially opened the Fitzroy Crèche building. This historical moment honoured Grace Catherine Ferguson's role in establishing the original Fitzroy Nursery, her grandson unveiling the plaque in her memory. This act not only recognised her contribution but also enshrined her legacy within the walls of a building dedicated to caring for future generations.
